One of the most magical Saturdays in the Ibiza season has just been announced. Global tastemakers BBC Radio 1 land at Ushuaïa Ibiza for BBC Radio 1 Dance X ANTS METALWORKS for part of the Radio 1 Dance Weekend: Ibiza 2025.
BBC Radio 1 Dance X ANTS METALWORKS will showcase the innovative sounds of ANTS to the world, featuring an unbeatable cast of ANTS favourites and Radio 1 originals, including John Summit, Franky Rizardo B2B Cloonee, Max Styler, Pete Tong, Jaguar, and Djammin.
Chicago’s own John Summit has made a huge impact in recent years, releasing a critically acclaimed debut album, selling out Madison Square Garden, supporting ANYMA in the Las Vegas Sphere and founding his own Experts Only record label and event series.
Next is a team-up from two artists that embody the genre-spanning ANTS sound as Frankie Rizardo goes B2B with Cloonee, from rolling tech house to groove-led Latin house. These two know how to keep The Colony moving. California's own Max Styler will bring his darker-edged house music to the ANTS METALWORKS stage.
Radio 1 tastemakers Pete Tong and Jaguar will demonstrate the musical expertise that has kept the station at the forefront of electronic music for so long, while the grime-influenced house of Djammin will bring a distinctly UK flavour to the party.
BBC Radio 1 Dance X ANTS METALWORKS is part of a weekend of events across the island. The global tastemaker will also take over elrow at [UNVRS] and Glitterbox at Hï Ibiza for the ultimate Ibiza weekender.
